National Park center - fine dining showcasing the very best of our local products under a more sophisticated form of presentation - the historical monastery setting boasts dramatic views of the Apennine ridgeline and the taverne Valley - a must in all seasons. For the family there is a small animal and botanical farm area - a walk up to the village of Apella is also a nice way to end a Sunday Lunch which is always in abundance!

Leave early in the morning from Casa Gioanna and go for Lunch at either of the refuges - Lago Santo or Lag dei, which are separated by a 10 minute cable car ride (only open on the weekend) or an hours walk - the glacial lakes are glorious in all seasons and so is the walking and food and wine at the end of a small or longer hike ! Here you can each the ridgeline in 2.30mins. Please consult naomi before you head up the mountain as every season has its different circumstances to be aware of!
