Travel magazines have named Ha Ha Tonka State Park one of the most beautiful places in Missouri. It is approximately a 20 minute drive from the condo. It's “where nature and history come together.”
We recommend hiking the Spring Trail--a 1.4 mile moderate trail. It is paved for the first 0.4 miles and it runs along the spring where you’ll see tons of wildlife. Stop at the boardwalk with an overlook of the spring with informational panels to learn more about the area. At the end of the trail you’ll squeeze between two rocks before making your way to the bottom of the stairs that lead to the castle ruins. But you’ll have to climb the 316 wooden steps covering 200 vertical feet to get there.

The Bagnell Damn strip is like a step back in time. Small bars, great atmosphere, entertainment for kids, and some of the best drinks on the lake. Everyone can find fun things to do.
