It's the closest to us, two blocks away, people are friendly, food's pretty good if you like Greek and coney's, but my favorite is their "Michigan Salad" because it's huge and has all kinds of fruit n' nuts in it too. Pretty tasty, yet healthy stuff.

Parks & Nature

I'm not sure what they're talking about with the "Splash Pad," but this is a 100-acre, rolling hills, beautifully-maintained nature park. Used to be a private sheep farm. The nature center museum is pretty cool! There's also a large multi-station playground, outdoor theater, volleyball courts, etc, and even the original family home to take a gander at. I like it especially for the multiple, winding, scenic walking paths, though, through forest, hills, and meadows, depending on which ones you take. There's no charge to visit the park.

Meijer has pretty much anything you'd need, and this is the closest one to us. Besides, they're Michigan-based, in Grand Rapids, so we do what we can to support them. We're in fear and loathing of Walmartians, y'know.
