The hike through the Oak and Hickory forest to the falls is so pretty. Little Switzerland is about ten minutes away if you want to check it out and grab some food and drink.

Moderate 2 plus mile RT hike rewards you with gorgeous views - 360 views in places. The summit is studded with large rock slabs perfect for sunning, picnics and just taking in the incredible views. Be sure to take both trails once at the top for different views! I loved this hike!

I loved this hike! Stunning views along most of the trail and spectacular views at the summit. This hike is further down the road from Hawksbill Trail. Get directions together before you go! Basically, you go past Hawksbill and then turn right where it says Table Rock Picnic Area and continue til you get to the parking lot. For more information and to be certain of directions - check out alltrails.com and romanticasheville.com. 2.2 mile round trip - rated moderate.

Basically, you go past Hawksbill and then turn right where it says Table Rock Picnic Area and continue til you get to the parking lot. For more information and to be certain of directions - check out alltrails.com and romanticasheville.com. 2.2 mile round trip - rated moderate.

35 miles - 48 minutes drive time from mac and mini. This park boasts the gorgeous High Shoals waterfall, a beautiful 80 foot falls, 40 miles of trails for peeps and bikes. There is a 17 mile loop bike trail. Big Bear Falls is worth checking out and there are places to swim in the creek. This is a fantastic park, I highly recommend it!
