Mennonite family owned and run sorghum mill. A quaint and interesting place to see how sorghum molasses is made. Buy sorghum, homemade pies, breads, cookies, candies, etc. This is especially fun to visit in the fall when they are making sorghum. You can hear their steam engine which sounds like a train in early fall mornings when work begins and again in evenings when the workday is over. The sound makes us all smile.

This is one of my favorite local places in Clarkrange. It's retro 50's diner is a nice surprise and has good burgers, fries, etc. It's filled with antiques and great stuff for log cabin and farm house decor. They also have fresh homemade fudge.

This is a nice little hike right outside of Monterey to beautiful rocks and cliffs overlooking mountains. Great for rock climbers, or for just laying on the rock or sitting and meditating. Quiet, with few, if any visitors. I've seen people hang hammocks in the trees and stay all day.
