Restoration works were done on 2001 and won an UNESCO award for outstanding architectural restoration. It is located in a street call "Harmony Street" where 3 different temples (Chinese, Muslim and Hindu) are very close together. It shows that the religion tolerance is much better in olden days. Worth a visit.

Kampung Morten is a village with traditional Malay wooden house. It is still being occupied by villagers til to date. This area has been gazetted as one of Malaysia's national heritage site. It is located next to the Melaka River which acts as a divider between the developed city and traditional old village.

Take the exit from Seoul Garden of The Shore Shopping Gallery and turn right and walk toward the bridge. You will see the ticket counter for Melaka River Cruise underneath the bridge. Ticket Prices are as follows: Children : RM5.30 Adult (Mon- Thurs) : RM10.60 Adult (Fri-Sun, Public & School Holidays) : RM15.90 Senior Citizen/Foreign Child/ Disable Adult : RM7.50 Foreign Adult (Mon-Thurs) : RM15.90 Foreign Adult ( Fri-Sun, Public & School Holidays) : RM21.20 This river cruise passes by Jonker Walk and you can choose to stop at Jonker Walk.
