Beautiful Whale Beach is a short stroll from our house. It's a great beach for surfing and swimming. There is an ocean pool, plenty of rocks to explore and fish from, a playground and BBQs.

With both an ocean side and a Pittwater side, Palm Beach is a truly spectacular destination. Kids [and adults] can learn to surf on the gentle waves of Palmie's Kiddies corner. There is delicious food at the Boat House, Dunes, Barrenjoey House and Palm Beach Golf Club. You can hire a tinnie, Kayak or paddleboard. Play golf. Watch live music on a Sunday arvo. Catch the ferry to the Basin or Patonga. You can even catch the sea plane from Palm Beach across the harbour to Rose Bay
