The first weekend in June and the last weekend in September they offer a volksmarch up to the face of Crazy Horse. It’s an event not to miss. They light up the carvings most evenings in the summer.

In the mountains the weather changes frequently. You can have a clear day turn to rain in a few minutes. Be sure to bring hiking boots or walking shoes, a jacket and rain gear if you plan to hike.
