For some reason this side of the Hudson has scant dining options Sunday lunch but Stewart house (check opening times) often has a jazz trio and great food in a historic setting. Good other times too but clutch for a last weekend meal. Great Hudson riverside dining in summer plus ice cream window.

290 acres of forested uplands, tidal forested wetlands, tidal marsh, and small areas of freshwater wetlands. 1.6 mile out and back trail hike, boardwalk on the Hudson with bird watching including a handicapped-accessible blind. Continue past the Vosburgh Swamp sign to reach Four Mile Point State Park that has picnic tables right on the Hudson that are rarely occupied.
