Boxyard RTP is a cool place to grab a bite to eat, grab a coffee or even see what new pop up vendors are on site. Boxyard is made of actual metal trailers put together and formed into buildings. It’s even just cool to see!

Have you seen or heard of the movie “Bull Durham”? If you are a baseball fan I’m pretty sure you have! This is the some what newer home to the Durham Bulls Baseball team. Less than a mile away was the original home field. That’s where the filming of the movie was done. The new stadium is NICE! With an attached Restaurant called Tobacco Roads sports bar. You can actually watch the game on their outside seating area. Without even buying a ticket to the game!

I have visited this museum countless times! My children spent many Summer days and weekends at this fun museum. So much so we were members. From the interactive exhibits to the wonderful butterfly exhibit (always fun when they land on you). Anyone can enjoy this museum.

The Historic Downtown Durham is a must see! The home of Duke University, NC Central University, DPAC, Tobacco Road and the Durham Bulls Ball Park. (If you have seen or heard of the movie Bull Durham, you’ll understand.)
The mixture of the old with the new! One thing is for sure, you’ll have plenty of choices to eat at. Lots of different places for all types of pallets! The Arts and Cultural is part of the heart of Downtown Durham. Don’t forget to get that Selfie down by the Bull!
