My favorite ramen spot downtown. Only about 12 minutes from the house. They have the best noodle bowls and delicious slushie drink specials.

Old school NC BBQ just how it was intended to be. Clyde's only recently started to accept any form of payment other than cash. Great vinegar sauce, delicious slow-roasted BBQ, and dessert that'll make you slap yo mamma.

The best upscale dining in Raleigh. The executive chef was the winner of Chopped on FoodNetwork. They are a small plates style restaurant with amazing selections of high-quality food. I would classify this as fine dining, but the price tag is not outrargeous. Make sure to get the octopus for a unique treat and the hangar steak is always a staple.

The is Raleigh's hidden Gem. That classic hole in the wall which has not quite been discovered yet. Smokestacks can be classified as fine southern cooking. It has that "home-cooked" feel and flavor, with a unique upscale twist to each menu item. They change their menu every week, and I go every week to taste the new items. I have never had a flavor I did not love here.

A beautiful park with winding walking paths just under 10 minutes from the bungalo. A great place for an afternoon walk or run with beautiful waterfalls and wildlife.
