A 14er is a mountain with an elevation of at least 14,000 feet and a peak that rises at least 300 feet above the saddle that connects it to the nearest 14er peak. Of the 96 14ers in the US, an impressive 53 of them are in Colorado.
This is the closest one, 45 min drive away. It is a full day (approx 9 hr) hike and rated difficult.
