They’re a small convenience store, off licence and post office. They also sell fresh bread, cakes as well as Cornish pasties. They have a takeaway breakfast and lunch menu. They do a great English breakfast and the crab salad and beefburgers are also yummy. Sometimes they do a pizza night, watch for the board outside and order in advance.

They have a great chef as well as outdoor garden space.
Good food and excellent service. Lovely olde world interior. In a nutshell - charming!

Beaches
A rough sand, single and small stone beach and rockier than the beach at Gorran Haven. Never the less in the height of the season it is quieter than the village beach.
There are no facilities on the beach. There is a National Trust car park at the top with a 10 minute walk down to the beach. It's about 15 minutes back up so you may not want to take a lot of stuff with you.
There is also a great cliff path walk from the village to this beach.
If you've seen the film About Time, this is the beach.

Large sweeping beach. Not suitable to get to if you having walking difficulties.
Sightseeing
Beautiful gardens to wander around and get inspired by. Take a picnic or buy from the assorted food places onsite.
Then there is the farm shop on your way out - oh so much to choose from, food heaven.

A beautiful fishing village. Lots of different shops and places to eat. There’s the ferry to Fowey in season and weather permitting. Also boats run fishing trips from here.
As a child this was our first stop on holiday- sausage and chips on the quay. Magical memories.
