Best family beach around with endless fun for the kids with the creek nearby, trails, bubbling sand, and mud pits. Endless adventure!

Lester Beach
Beat the crowds at Lester Beach!
Most beautiful white sandy beach with warm calm waters.
Best family beach around with endless fun for the kids with the creek nearby, trails, bubbling sand, and mud pits. Endless adventure!
For the adults, have a bonfire on the beach and watch the most beautiful sunset.
Closest Boat Launch but really this is a top notch place to come and watch a gorgeous sunset.
There is a small beach that's great for finding fossils and cool rocks.
Wear some good walking shoes if you plan to climb on the rocks-not recommended for small children.
If you are into a nature walk, you can walk down to the yellow brick through the forest walking trail on the opposite side of the bay and turning left at lakeshore road. Its a great walk but don't be caught walking home in the dark, that when all the mosquitos come out!

There are unique sports equipment here and a large field, basketball hoop, volleyball court, swings, large round multi person spinner (?) and a huge play structure.

Take Lakeshore Road to Hillside Beach Store. Then travel 2 miles West on Hillside Beach Road and you will find a unique playground. Mostly covered in sand, local residents donate outdoor toys for all to share and it is endless fun for the kids.
Also has a large field, swings, and modern play structure with music and racing slides.
My recommendation is to pick up ice cream at the Hillside Beach Store and then head over to the playground to burn it all off!

The family is known for their Deli Salads but the baking is excellent as well.
Great store attached with a small patio as well.
