Only 7 minute drive from our hose. Great 15 minute easy walk to the "top of the world", follow signs, hike is marked with colorful birdhouses. This is J. D. Salinger's farm land, that is open to the public. You can bring wine with you and enjoy the sunset. There are chairs and table "On top of the world"

Great hiking and biking trails about 10 min car ride from our house. Park on the Plainfield Elementary school parking lot. It is about 25 min walk/hike to the huge stone on the top with beautiful views

Beautiful place to visit. Sculptors residence and studio. Wonderful sculptures in the garden. If you continue up that road you will go to song garden pick your own flowers farm. Check their website thesonggarden.com

Amazing views!!!! Only 28 min away. Ride up the mountain and then on the top there are numerous hiking trails. Only 0.6 miles to viewing tower. Amazing on sunset.

Look on website, you can order wonderful lobster dinner at the end of the week. We go there to get amazing doughnuts, they open up at 10am. Wonderful people are running it. Next to it is another farm, with pick your own flowers and berries, I will look for that name and add
