Very nice italian pizza, deli and bakery just 5 min away from the Blue house. The owners also started a more fancy restaurant across the street.

could happen). Outdoor area by the sea, perfect for sunsets and watching people jump into the sea. Expensive, the food is not too impressive, but the location is. Used to be an old sardine factory, now it is a concert venue, studios, offices and a bar/restaurant. Very close!

Lots of paths and activities on the top: playground, climbing park and troll forest, canoes in the summer. Loved by families and used for exercise all year, but the queue for the funicular in the tourist season may be frightening. Go before 10-11 am or hike!

Loved by families and used for exercise all year, but the queue for the funicular in the tourist season may be frightening. Go before 10-11 am or hike!

You should be in good shape, bring water and chose another path going back down (continue right to Skredderdalen or Fløyen). Kids 5+ can do it if they are very motivated and if you bring enough sweets, food and drink. Very famous in Bergen, many people prepare for the annual race in September. Keep right!

Very popular and crowded if nice weather, you may have it almost to yourself if foggy. Very nice for families, a bit stressful bringing a buggy down all the stairs, but you may bring it inside. Bergen Aquarium is popular with kids and can be visited also on rainy days. Not very big and a bit expensive, located on the edge of the Nordnes park. Main features is a lot of funny penguins and sea lions (shows every day).

This is the historic Bergen, key to our understanding of who we are and our most iconic buildings. Still housing local offices, artists and of course a lot of tourist shops. You may check out the Bryggen Museum in the Northern end or the Hanseatic Museum on the South end if you want to learn more, or else just have a stroll around.

Visit the art museums KODE 1-4 , all located by the small pond Lille Lungegårdsvann. In number 3 you find the largest Munch collection outside of Oslo and many others.
In Kode 4 you find the Childrens art museum and studio where they can paint ect. Perfect for rainy days!
A decent lunch place in number 2 ( Smakverket), an upscale restaurant in number 4 (Lysverket), and a new nice pizzeria in Kode 1 (Bien Centro).
