A 25 minute walk from the lodge, past the golf course and stream. Pools, hills and woods to explore and then a children's play area, cafe and high ropes adventure. A great walk and somewhere else to take a picnic.

Lots of fun travelling the shortest and perhaps steepest funicular railway in the world. Also some great icecream shops, pubs and restaurants in Bridgnorth, spectacular views, a castle and a picturesque river. Well worth a day out.

Reconstructed original victorian buildings; volunteers in dress and character, guiding you through life in the black country in its heyday; workshops and a museum; a cafe; old-fashioned fish and chip shop (to die for), and a range of traditional shops such as the sucke shop (sweets), bakery, ironmonger etc.

Mad O' Rourke's Pie factory was built in 1856 and was equipped with shell die presses from the Royal Ordinance works at Bilston.
A fabulous dining experience with the most spectacular and tasty pie range you could imagine, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Not to be missed!
