When people come to our neighborhood, they often smell something that seems like maybe something is on fire...but in a good way. That's because within walking distance, we've got one of the very best coffee roasters in the region here in our 'hood! Once you realize it's the smell of roasting coffee, you'll be nose to the wind and find yourself walking right up to the cafe to grab a powerhouse and latte!

This A-MAZE-ING donut shop is also walking distance and they have limited hours and sell out quick every day they're open! Walk on down there for all vegan donuts that will wow you every time. I recommend maple butter pecan, but their flavors change weekly, and anything you get will be the bees knees!

Just a short walk away, you'll find yourself in the woods, following a beautiful path along a stream (Herring Run). It's incredibly peaceful and quiet and such a beautiful amenity to have in the city!
This reservoir was excavated in 1881, and has been a great resource ever since for surrounding communities to get out and meet neighbors. An easy, flat 1.4 mile loop will get your body moving, with exercise equipment ringing the loop as well as disc golf rings! A 10 minute walk through wooded pathways will get you here easily, and you'll spot turtles basking, red-winged blackbirds and other local wildlife hanging out at the reservoir, too.
