Boston Spa is a very pretty Georgian Spa village situated 3 miles south of Wetherby, Boston Spa is on the south bank of the River Wharfe which separates it from Thorp Arch. It has lots of restaurants, cafes and retail.

City/town information
York is a stunning cathedral city at the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Foss. The city has beautiful historic buildings and structures, such as the Minster, Clifford Tower and Castle Museum and the ancient city walls. It’s becoming a theme, but Visit York is a great resource in the same vein as Harrogate and Leeds.

If you have the time and weather, then a walk around the CITY WALLS is highly recommended (not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues). It really gives you a feel for the city and how it might have looked in medieval times. Lots of natural breaks in the walls to go and explore then re-join at your convenience.

Leeds city centre is home to a number of historic buildings and arcades including Kirkgate Market dating back to the 1850’s, the Corn Exchange, Victoria Quarter, County and Thornton’s Arcade. These are blended with the new contemporary Trinity Centre and Victoria Gate and Quarter, destinations for shopping, eating and drinking.
Situated at Leeds Dock, a 20-minute walk from the centre of Leeds is the Royal Armouries. The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, is a national museum which displays the National Collection of Arms and Armour.
