Your nearest Boots, but it's a busy one. The quieter one is near Goodge Street station. Boots is the largest national chain of chemists (pharmacies). They have everything from tissues to deodorant to make-up, as well as non-prescription and prescription medicines.

Fairly large supermarket for the basics. If you can't find something at the nearby Tesco Express, this one will have it. The lower-ground level of John Lewis is more attractive and has nicer things, but Tesco is better for things like laundry detergent.

St Paul's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral, the seat of the Bishop of London and the mother church of the Diocese of London. It sits on Ludgate Hill at the highest point of the City of London. The cathedral is one of the most famous and most recognisable sights of London. Its dome, framed by the spires of Wren's City churches, dominated the skyline for 300 years. At 365 feet (111 m) high, it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962. The dome is among the highest in the world. St Paul's Cathedral is a working church with hourly prayer and daily services.
