Sadly there was a fire in Noshington's in late September and it is shut for repairs.
At the end of our road this is a wonderful neighbourhood cafe which serves amazing breakfasts traditional and vegan type healthy ones! It has fabulous lunch and dinner options too with wine available.

This is Dublin's best Indian restaurant and it is just around the corner from us. They do a wonderful Palak Paneer and all the traditional dishes. Get a take away or eat in and then go for drink across the road to the fabulous MVP bar.

This is a great coffee shop just beside the number 16 bus stop which takes you to the airport directly from near our house. There are freshly baked pastries and yummy coffee. Also yoga classes out the back.

Fantastic french pizza place which has breads and coffees too. This place is open in the evening and has a pizza oven, it is very casual and you turn up and share tables. There is wine and beer on the menu and fabulous pizzas made with emmental cheese.

St Patrick's cathedral is a ten minute walk from our house. It is where Jonathan Swift was Dean of the cathedral and is one of Dublin's most iconic buildings. You can do a tour and soak in the history or just look at it from the lovely park beside it.

Booking is essential for this gaol where many of the 1916 rebels were imprisoned after the rising. The tour is very interesting and good for all ages, my 16 year old nephew said it was his favourite tourist attraction in Dublin. You can visit the cells and learn about Irish history.

Inchicore RoadBooking is essential for this gaol where many of the 1916 rebels were imprisoned after the rising. The tour is very interesting and good for all ages, my 16 year old nephew said it was his favourite tourist attraction in Dublin. You can visit the cells and learn about Irish history.
Only 15 minutes walk from the house The Guinness Storehouse is a must see. It explains everything about the iconic drink including how it is made, advertised and history. The tour ends at a glass view point bar above the building where you can enjoy a glass of the black stuff and view the whole of the city.

Only 5 minutes walk from our house this whiskey distillery offers tours and tasting, there is also a delicious cafe open all day and a shop and a bar upstairs if you want to just buy the whiskey and sample.
