Hit the waters at Cultus Lake main beach for a day of boating or seadooing. Boats and Sea Doo rentals available at Main Beach. I'd go a little earlier as the main beach can get quite busy during summer.
For a slightly less crowded beach, check out Entrance Bay. There are great areas to pitch a tent / canvass and have a picnic. There are docks for kids to practice their jumps into a lake and also paddle board rentals there. Get there early if you want to find a good spot!
Maple Bay Day Use Area - closest to the cottage. There are many tables to set up a nice picnic or BBQ. There is a dock for endless fun of jumping into the lake. It's a smaller beach than Entrance Bay and Main Beach so again get there early to reserve your spot. It's walkable from the cottage if you're not carrying too much with you.

If you're looking for a nice easy hike (2.5km each way) this is a local favorite. Nice scenic views of Cultus Lake at the top. Would be okay for older kids, but probably wouldn't recommend with kids under 8.
