Just outside the Museum doors you'll find more than 3 miles of wonderful walking trails are threaded through the forest and ravine, with outdoor installations of art at various points along the way. Macadoodles is on your left and is a terrific liquor store with a wide range of liquor, beer and wine and a welcoming and helpful staff. While you are there you can gas up at the Shell station in front of the store (the gas here is always one of the cheapest stations in the area). Macadoodles is 2 minutes from the house.

It extends all the way into Bentonville from Bella Vista. and provides a jumping off point to the all purpose Razorback Greenway and Slaughter Pen Mountain Bike trails that head south into Bentonville and beyond. These trails around Lake Leatherwood have been cut by the experts and are touted as some of the best runs this side of the Rockies. Historic Eureka Springs is about a 45 minute drive from the house. It is always open, and visitors from all over the world stop in and sign the guest book . Along with the guestbook, there is an easy walking asphalt trail that goes around the Chapel through the woods and along a lake. It's a lovely 15-20 minute walk that completes the experience of the Chapel. This is about a 2 minute drive from the house.
