Sightseeing
Beautiful lookout views of North Carolina and hiking trails to a natural cavern. Motorized vehicles are not allowed into the park so be prepared for lots of walking. Stick to the top of the mountain or hike strenuous mountain. Amazing views! Pack lunch and enjoy eating at the covered pavilion. No alcohol or weapons allowed in the preserve.
The Devils Den is where the Allen Family hid after the Courthouse Tragedy of 1912 in Hillsville, Va.
You will also pass by The Morris Family Cemetery located near the trail head.
