It’s a must to visit! The quarantine station is so interesting, maybe more so now we are living through CoVid19 times, Cheviot Beach (where Prime Minister Harold Holt disappeared), Fort Nepean and the wonderful hills, fauna, flora, bird life, ocean and bay. Spend the day, well worth visiting. Plenty of parking. Shuttle bus is available if the walk is too much, this comes with a fee.

The Peninsula Hot Springs never disappoints and only 2.6 km away from Curran House. Highly recommend a midweek visit of bathing, pampering and feasting - in that order! The world needs more tranquility, relaxation and a great feed.

This can be you regular walk to the pier from Curran house it only takes 40 minutes to get to the pier. Generally it takes longer walking back for us because we stop by the cafes for coffee and light breakfast or brunch.
