Get Physical / Climb A Mountain / Nearby Hikes
Climbing Camelback Mountain is not easy. Make sure you have water, good shoes and some risk tolerance. There are two trails to the top, Echo Canyon & Cholla. Both are crowded and totally worth the effort. We prefer the Echo Canyon Trail

Piestewa Peak has some great hikes. The Summit Trail to the top is strenuous, crowded and worth it. Bring water, good shoes and your risk tolerance. If you're looking for a less crowded & vertical option, we like the Circumference Trail.

South Mountain is largest city park in the nation. There's great trails for hiking and mountain biking. For hiking we like the Holbert & 19th Ave Trails; both go to the top. Bring your water, good shoes and risk tollerance.
