Fishing fleet and hire boats, deep water fishing tours, lake boat tours, surf beach, discovery walks. Lots of cafes and restaurants, mini golf, fresh fish and prawn sales off the wharf, great golf links.

within 10 minute drive you'll reach the wonderful Metung Hot Springs. Well worth a visit to unwind for an afternoon soak then a good meal at the Golf Club nearby. You can order ahead a light lunch at the Springs. Check out their website

The Rose garden is lovely during the season and bush walks give you views of the Gippsland Lakes and there are lots of information boards about history, flora and fauna of the area. walk down to the farmyard to see how the 'help' lived and read the touching stories in the old farmhouse.

hidden at the end of the road is this quaint village within 10ks of my Air Bnb. Cool village green with sprinklers and Bar BQs. The back beach is great for swimming, having a free gas Barbie, changing rooms, toilets and outside shower. Perfect place to just lay on the beach and enjoy the serenity!
