The Buba Beach restaurant is right on the private beach side of the Mount Lavinia beach. The food and service is excellent and the beach atmosphere is awesome!

You can travel the whole island from the Mount Lavinia railway station. Best to travel during off-peak times to get a seat on the train, and enjoy the sea breeze.

You can change into your swim wear here, and swim in the safer area of the Mount Lavinia sea. Probably the best beach spot on the Mount Lavinia beach.
