Durand family owned and operated, so of course we are going to recommend you visit! Enjoy wine tastings and pizza nights in the summer months. Winery open all year round. Stop by, tour the winery and enjoy a nice glass of wine (Farmer and the Frenchman White is our fave) and meet our cousins, Adam and Carrie; tell them we say “hi”!

One of our favourite restaurants just 20 minutes east of our cottage! A must try! James Eddington’s Chicken Appleby and sticky toffee pudding (our personal favourites :) will not disappoint! And let's not forget the dill pickle fries! Thursday night pizza night…yum! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food and service in our books! Not to mention the new beautiful outdoor patio built in 2020.

Entertainment

Located in a country setting, just minutes from Grand Bend's famous "strip" and the sparkling shores of Lake Huron, the Huron Country Playhouse is the perfect spot to experience summer theatre. There are 650 seats in the mainstage auditorium and 300 seats in the South Huron Stage auditorium. Infrared hearing and wheelchair access are available to patrons who require special assistance. Less than an hour's drive from London, Strathroy, and Sarnia, the main auditorium is housed in a spacious century-old barn. The beautifully landscaped grounds and gazebo are ideal for a picnic before or after the show. Our popular live in-person 50/50 raffle is back for each performance!
