Sightseeing

Here you can ride down the white sands on a sled. I recommend checking the weather before going as this place can get very hot in summer. Bring your own sled available at Walmart or purchase one from the gift shop. Bring a cooler and dogs on leashes.

This is a great place to visit with your motorcycle, side by side, or jeep. We have seen these same wild horses every time we visit and they allow you to get pretty close to them.

Food scene

Best place in town for live music is the brewery. Enjoy pizza, local beer and meet new friends. It also has an indoor area for live music in the colder months.

Neighborhoods

Burro street is full of shops with local eateries and artisans selling their wares. Bear Mountain Coffee is delicious and so is Eight the Cake. Leprees Global Comfort food always has fresh made food (expect a wait) and the Noisy Water winery serves delicious cheese plates. There is a tasty Pacific fried rice place and also a shaved ice place for kids. Sometimes there are special events, like the annual Pumpkin roll featured in the photo above. Also in the Village there are two excellent BBQ places, Brother in Laws and Mad Jacks. What can I say, we love food and the village has some yummy places.
