This artesanal bakery is a great place for a snack or a brunch. Not so cost friendly but (besides the food) the service and ambiance are great. They just opened a branch at Mateus Grou, 83 (which is closer to the loft).

There are a lot of fancy japanese restaurants in São Paulo, but this simple one is (in our opinion) the best. If you`re willing to spend some money we highly recommend the omakasê (chef`s daily sushi selection) or one of the domburis - if you`re not feeling like spending too much.
