Food scene

Almar has a nice outside deck. Perfect to sit there for a nice lunch (personally I like the fish ceviche or burgers). Enjoy the ocean and say hello to the resident iguanas and sea lions.

Sightseeing

Pack your lunch, bathing suite, lots of water and sunscreen. Spend the day at Tortuga Bay beach. It takes abut 40 minutes to walk there. The walk it self is very nice. The beach is amazing. If available, and if you are up for it, rent kayaks at the end of Playa Mansa.

Closest beach. Great 10 minute walk from the apartment. Guests who enjoy teleworking from our flat, love to go early in the morning and start their day with a dip in the ocean and some snorkeling.

攜帶物品

Bring comfortable shoes and light jacket

Galapagos is about walking and exploring. Bring good, comfortable walking shoes. If you need improved stability bring walking sticks. A good windbreaker or light fleece can also come in handy when exploring the Galapagos on a day boat.

Make sure to visit at least 2 uninhabited islands

Remember Galapagos is an archipelago. To make the most of it, you should visit at least 2 uninhabited islands during your visit. Our personal favorites are Bartolome, Seymour and Santa Fe. Several operators offer full day explorations to uninhabited islands (google day tours). Usually a private boat, takes the group (max 16) to an island, followed by snorkeling and lunch on board the yacht. You can book directly with the operator. We recommend: www.seafinch.com If you plan to go to one of the other inhabited islands (i.e. Isabella) stay for at least one night.
