Check out Coombs Country Farm, they have goats on the roof! Also a very nice market with lots of little shops and artisanal goods. A 30 minute bike ride or 10 minute drive, its a popular Vancouver Island attraction

If you love nature and big trees, Cathedral Grove is famous for its giant Douglas firs. The biggest trees in the grove are around 800 years old!

If you don't mind the 1 hour drive, I recommend going and checking out Sproat lake. Its water is so clear you can see about 30 feet down!
P.s You'll pass right by Cathedral Grove on the way to the lake so stop and check that out as well!

British Columbia 4If you don't mind the 1 hour drive, I recommend going and checking out Sproat lake. Its water is so clear you can see about 30 feet down!
P.s You'll pass right by Cathedral Grove on the way to the lake so stop and check that out as well!
