Great coffee downstairs and an up-scale market that has lots of healthy and interesting products. It's on the pricier side, but has lots of great treats and the food in the back in NY Times recommended. The hot-chick sandwich is my favorite. Hot tip, they have a great lunch special for $11, half a sandwich (get the Italian or Veggie) and a soup or salad

Plenty of outlets are available, however, the cafe closes at 12 PM and the resturant (so good) Kleins doesn't open till 4 PM now. Get delivery or coffee from Butler down the block from The Hoxton

The radio station is located inside the small trailer where they have a constant stream of live DJs performing and broadcasting internationally. Hang out here to hear some great electronic music and have a drink. They have fireplaces to keep warm

Great drinks, great music, all-around favorite. Not quite a club, not just a bar. One of my favorite spots on a Wednesday. Get's pretty popular on the weekends so get there by 10 PM if you don't want to wait in line (or just make friends with the bouncer)

Even in the winter it's a wonderful spot to walk around when the weather plays nice. The taco spot is so-so. Go to the one 2 bocks up from the apartment on S4th, way better
