I have lived in La Laguna since I was 20 years old. In my opinion, it is a relaxed and friendly city, where you can walk, eat and escape the stress of a big city. It's also the gateway to Anaga, where there is plenty to discover and you can connect with nature.

Anaga Rural Park is a must see, the "laurisilva" forest is beautifully conserved and going for a walk is a great plan for anyone interested in plants and birds. The sound of the wind passing through and the birds live performance will galvanize your senses.

For many tourist coming to Tenerife, Mount Teide is a must see. If you manage to go at night you may be able to see lots of stars in the sky, plus it's a beautiful place to go on a hike.
