This would be a place to take the family for a nice dinner. I would say it is one of the most formal settings you will have in Wintergreen. We took the family for my husbands retirement and had a nice evening.

Just stop here! Don't ask any questions... it is a little gem. I love to stop for a bowl of whatever soup is the special. I have to say, hubby had tomato bisque and I had butternut squash. It was delightful. The wine selections is amazing. We shared a quiche and well as with most quiche, delightful. Just pop in and share of quick glass of your favorite wine. Also, this place a wonderful little gifts: jams, seasonings, breads, teas, etc. One of my favorite little places ...

Okay - Ms. Lisa is a talented baker. She has made my moms birthday cake (apple cake with cream cheese frosting) amazing with coffee I must say. But we are known to just stop in and grab a personal dessert and cup of coffee. The kids love the chocolate chip cook sandwiches. I am especially fond of the lemon tart. Just stop in for a sweet treat. Tell her Misty sent you. :)

The best food on 151. The venue has the best outdoor space, food is amazing (bar food with a fine dining trained chef) and beer is perfect. Come sit next to the Rockfish River or play corn hole. All welcome: family and pups.

Drinks & Nightlife
This is a bar/restaurant. We love the food and the flights of beer are also great! I do believe that the best part of this place is the outdoor area. If you have time, sit around a fire pit, grab a beer and enjoy the mountains as they should be enjoyed.

200 Mosbys RunThis is a bar/restaurant. We love the food and the flights of beer are also great! I do believe that the best part of this place is the outdoor area. If you have time, sit around a fire pit, grab a beer and enjoy the mountains as they should be enjoyed.

The Appalachian trial network is literally yards from the driveway. You can walk to the entrance and take a hike for hours. Additionally, there is a waterfall hike for the family across the street from the cabin. (about a 15 mike walk) It is a nice place for a picnic in the spring and summer. You can hear the falls from the back deck.

The Appalachian trial network is literally yards from the driveway. You can walk to the entrance and take a hike for hours. Additionally, there is a waterfall hike for the family across the street from the cabin. (about a 15 mike walk) It is a nice place for a picnic in the spring and summer. You can hear the falls from the back deck.

This is a must! If you stay over a weekend, please make time to go to the market. It opens on Saturday morning at the base of the mountain near the entrance of Stoney Creek. The locals come out and sale things from: jewelry, wood working, goat cheese, desserts, flowers, fruits and vegetables, and much more. A great time and such a peaceful place. Simple living. They have live music playing, a few bites to sample, and country living at its best.

Antiques in the area.... a great place to walk around for an hour or so... I will say prices can be a little high, but as with any good antique shop you can always find a gem or so that you must have.

Beer, wine, milk, bread, ice cream, chips, sandwiches ... people say it is a little expensive, but I think that is relative. We live in DC so it doesn't seem any different to us. We are thankful to be able to make a quick run for a can of refried beans, or grab a case of beer.
