In Caguas: Charco El Cantil is a great watering hole about 10 minute drive away. Google Maps will take you to an abandoned house above the river; park there and walk down the stairs. It's a short walk down to the water. There are shallow spots for kids and a rock you can jump off as well.

El Yunque: If you want to go to El Yunque, this is THE spot! It’s just 45 minutes away and has the best hiking and swimming there is. Caves to explore! And it’s free! Bring food and water!

Manati (north shore): This is our favorite beach!!! There are closer beaches — this one is about an hour away. But it’s well worth the drive. Great cove for small kids to swim in and a great beach to collect sea glass and sea shells.

Caguas: La Plaza is a square in downtown Caguas and it’s less than 15 minutes away. It has great little touristy shops, restaurants, a fountain, Merry-Go-Round and even parrots. It's a great place to just walk around.

This place is SO FUN for friends, families and couples!!! About 45 min from us. Check their web site to reserve a spot on the tanker for a ride/tour. They have animals, crafts, a great restaurant and incredible views!!
