My family has been coming here for years. The Sherwood Inn is a forever staple for both locals and visitors. Live music on Sundays from 4:00-7:00. Good food and the tavern is a wonderful place for a cozy lunch or dinner with beautiful views of the lake!

The only Mexican in town and done well! Great urban vibe and good for hanging at the bar or for a big group. Seating upstairs and down. If you're with a group, try sitting at one of the round tables in the front! Love the shrimp tacos!!

A truly wonderful spa and dining experience! I go frequently with friends to hang out at their cozy wine bar. Mirbeau is just a quick walk or bike ride from the house. You can buy a day pass to use the fitness center and spa facilities, including the outside hot tub area (fyi...it can turn into a bit of a party scene out there sometimes). Be sure to book a treatment and, if you love a good vacation spa experience, plan to spend at least half a day here while in Skaneateles!

Fish off the pier, launch your kayak or paddleboard or just sit and enjoy the view! This is also where Midlakes Navigation launches the Judge Ben for daily boat cruises.

This is the quieter park in town but just as scenic. Don't miss walking to the other end of town to catch the shops on the east side, ending with a beautiful view of the lake from Thayer Park.

Short, flat hike (about 1.5 miles round trip) along the historic Skaneateles creek and railroad. See remnants of old mills and be sure to stop at the Last Shot Distillery and Skaneateles Brewery right along the path before or after your walk...or both!

Beautiful trails about 5 miles east of town in Marcellus. No dogs allowed unfortunately but if you like a steeper more challenging hike and/or you enjoy nature center offerings, this is a must visit in the area.
