Our favorite coffee shop in Joplin! The cafe was started and run by several dear friends of ours and has been a local, neighborhood favorite ever since. If you take your coffee seriously, you'll want to be sure to stop by Zinc. If you're in town long enough, you may even be able to stop in for a pop-up retail shop, yoga sessions, or summer improv shows.

The longest running local restaurant in Joplin! Not only is it really close to our home, but it is some of the best food you will find in town. They have a great bar too, if you like to enjoy a drink with your dinner! Be sure to try the truffle mac and cheese - you won't regret it!

Our favorite spot for a quick brunch on the weekend! If we do not cross paths at the home, we will probably cross paths here! We eat here often. The Bruncheonette is home to some of the most creative and delicious meals you have ever had. You won't find all your typical breakfast dishes here, but I promise you won't regret it.

If you have some free time in the afternoon or over an evening, Bookhouse will be showing new and classic indie films that you wouldn't be able to view in a traditional theatre. You can still get drinks, snacks, full dinner service, and more all for a unique experience that you can't find anywhere else.

You will find lots of walking trails, cliffs, running water, spots for bird watching, waterfalls, and more. There is a small Welcome Center that can give you more information on exploring the area.

This is a small little art museum located in downtown Joplin! If you have some time to kill or enjoy finding some curated local art, this is the place to go. They are also expanding and currently working on a new museum and music venue just a few blocks from our home.
