Canatara park is rated one of the top 10 beaches in Ontario. The water is as blue as the caribbean and nice and warm. There are many walking trails at the park and a great concert venue to check out. This park is only a 5 minute drive from our place.

The Boardwalk along the the St. Clair River is a must see. The river runs fast, great place to jump in if you are brave or watch the kids do it. The big ships are always making their way through the canal and one of the most beautiful spots to see sunsets. Most notable and a real locals thing are the chip trucks where you can enjoy some great food and watch the sunset. This is a quick 3 minute drive or a nice bike ride in 10 minutes.

At the bottom of the lake, there rests more than 1,000, shipwrecks. The underwater historic sites are destinations for scuba divers, snorkelers and even kayakers to explore. There are 30 lighthouses on the beaches of Lake Huron which are open for visitors and you can also enjoy fishing, sea kayaking, sailing, etc. Private charter facilities are also available.

There are paved walkways in the park, seating areas, a seven days a week fry truck, water fountain and also a running route. While your visit you can watch the boats, fly a kite, and stroll around. The Suncor agora concert park is located inside the park and within walking distances near the park, there are wonderful shopping places and restaurants

For all you gamblers there is a casino just down the street from us. They have table games and slot machines maybe it will be our lucky day! It also sits right along the river with a nice restaurant with an amazing patio to enjoy the view and the food.
