Definitely start with garlic potatoes as a starter to share with the table. You can’t go wrong with any main dish, but we love the shawarma. For dessert, the cheesecake with figs is unbeatable.

Located in the trendy and beautifully maintained “2nd & PCH” shopping area, with several restaurants, a Whole Foods, and other boutique shops.
Ola is an amazing sit-down Mexican restaurant with an expansive list of margaritas to pick from. Our favorite is the Punta Negra margarita, made with blackberries.
For dinner, 2-3 tacos per person usually fills us. Be sure to include an order of rice and beans for the table (serves 4 people easily) to round out the meal.

Be sure to walk to the lighthouse (you can walk right up to the base of it), explore the dockside restaurant options along the marina full of boats and walk through the outdoor shopping area.
There is a Ferris wheel for a fun elevated view of the waterfront.
You may notice the pedestrian bridge over the road (with blinking lights at night) resembles a roller coaster. This is an homage to the old roller coaster in the area that was historically there.
