Food scene

This has been my favorite restaurant in the entire area since the day it opened! I used to live up the block from it and getting a poke bowl after a long day at work was the best! Their prices are by far the best in Pescadero and Todos Santos I also appreciate their menu because they have traditional Asian cuisine. It’s also a great spot for a group because they offer amazing appetizers (the wontons are divine), and have more to offer than just sushi so everyone can find something that sounds tasty! They do sometimes close down for the summer and they also have a rooftop spot that partners with a local mixology bar, that location is in the town of Todos Santos

An amazing ice cream spot! Tons of naturally flavored ice cream, and many flavors have two versions, one made with cream and the other made with milk!

Our two towns of Pescadero and Todos Santos are known for many coffee shops! My personal favorite spot is Taller 17! (They baked our wedding cake and cupcakes!) The owner is super sweet and you can tell how much heart she puts into her business! Amazing drinks and phenomenal pastries! And if you bring your own reusable cup she gives a $5 peso discount and her cups and straws are as eco friendly as possible!

Local Market

It’s not shown in the photos but this market has the best selection of fruits and veggies in town! You’ll be blown away if you compare your receipt with one from the states They also have miscellaneous products, canned goods, drinks and snacks, a meat counter, as well as some products from Costco

The cleanest and most affordable place in the area to get your water jugs refilled. They have bags of ice and you can select either just purified or purified alkaline water! Very nice people, if you need help they’ll even offer to carry the filled jugs back out to your car! They have a parking lot as well so there’s easy access and it’s just across the street from Salgado’s market!

Bank / ATM

One of two banks in the area (both located in Todos Santos) I definitely recommend getting pesos in cash because not everywhere takes cards and it’s also a better idea to pay at the gas stations with cash. NOTE : The amount of money you want out of the ATM is in Pesos! Even if it’s in English, if you type $100 into the amount to receive you will only get $100 pesos (around 5 USD) and you will be charged a small fee.

Activities

One of my favorite spots in Baja! If you’re visiting Pescadero for more than two weeks I highly recommend taking a day trip or booking an overnight stay here at Sol de Mayo! It’s a beautiful fresh water, waterfall! Definitely pack food and be prepared for a small hike down to the fall, there’s also more hiking available if you want to explore the river more!
