Don’t miss out on this little man-made lake and trail system, just ten minutes away. You can’t see it from the road, and is accessed via downtown Rogers. Four miles of paved trails and more than ten miles of unpaved trails. Two mile paved trail around the lake. Paved trail connects to Railyard Bike Park. Head up the hills to the unpaved trails around the lake - spectacular woodland scenery! You’ll find a trail map at the little visitors pavilion by the entrance (across the street from the picnic pavilion.) Kayaks, SUPs and fishing allowed, but no swimming. Bring a sandwich and a drink - lots of green space for picnicking. (5.5 miles)

East New Hope literally runs into the lake at the Monte Ne ramp. It isn’t very wide and there’s limited parking. If the lake is up, some will put their boat/jet ski off the shoreline to the right of the ramp, but be careful as there are shallow remnants of a concrete wall/pillars from old Monte Ne structures - easy to back into or get a trailer wheel stuck. This is also a quiet place (frequented by locals) to bring a chair and a floaty and have a lake day. (7 miles)
