Movie Spot

One Tree Hill Bridge featured in the show's opening credits is found just past North 6th and Hanover St and is called '6th Street Bridge. ' For those who have forgotten the importance of this bridge, it's the same one where Lucas dribbles his basketball with 'I don't wanna be' by Gavin DeGraw playing in the opening credits.

Great local brewery. They don't serve food, but typically have the most amazing food trucks out front. Check their website for more information.

Wilmington was the first city in the country to receive the designation of "American World War II Heritage City." Explore the decks of the World War II-era Battleship NORTH CAROLINA, named one of the “Best Museum Ships” by USA TODAY 10BEST, and experience how the sailors lived aboard the ship during wartime. Walk along the half-mile SECU Memorial Walkway that honors veterans from all branches of the military. For those on the city side of the river, the Battleship makes for a great photo opportunity from the Wilmington Riverwalk.
