This is called the Southport Seaway - in high seas it can be quite spectacular - big waves. Watch boats coming and going. Kiosk has great crab sandwiches! Take a walk out to the lighthouse at the end.

See the spectacular night lights over the water from the other side of Surfers Paradise. Nice little park with swings. Sometimes good fishing ;) Nice walk from my place - about 20mins each way

OMG!!! you should see this.....why not park at Marina Mirage next door and go and indulge in a cocktail in the foyer - the décor is divine. High Tea, or a drink won't kill the budget.
