The beautiful beach is just a three mile drive and can be accessed with your car or the golf cart that we provide you. This is a gorgeous beach and far less crowded in the summer that near-by Myrtle Beach. The south end of the beach has the largest lot for public parking, but there are smaller lots located along the ocean front road.
When the tide is out, you will not believe the size of the beach on the South and North ends. There is a tidal creek that connects to the ocean on both ends of the beach. They give you the feel of a tropical isolated Island.

Only an 8 mile drive from us. Historic Georgetown Harbor Walk is a must visit. Great restaurants and dining right on the river. Georgetown Landing close by.

Murrells Inlet is about a 12 mile drive from us. The Marsh Walk is a must, if you have never been there. Restaurants line the boardwalk and boats line the inlet. They offer numerous excursions and activities if you are so inclined.

Well what can I say. Myrtle Beach is the big city to us Islanders. It is located 27 miles north of us and contains endless opportunities for dinning, entertainment and fun.

Less than 10 miles from here on 17. Botanical Gardens and Historic Sculptures. Gorgeous. Prepare for a lot of walking. Night of a thousand candles in the Christmas season is a memory that will never leave you. In addition to the gardens they have a zoo, butterfly atrium, river ride that includes a history of the area and a great restaurant. There is an admissions fee to the gardens.

16148 Ocean HighwayLocated 8 miles south of us. This is a great place for picnics, beaches, nature trails and to visit the historic Atalaya Home. A 1930s Moorish-style castle, was the home of the Huntingtons, who once owned the land. Very Unique. There is a fee.
Oyster landing is 10 miles from us on the right side of Ocean Hwy (Hwy. 17). It is a great spot to dig for clans or oysters and there is no fee. Just be sure to obey the state laws, because the area is patrolled. Two U.S. Bushels of oysters and/or one-half U.S. Bushel of clams may be harvested per person, per day. Clams must be at least one inch thick. We have come home with full buckets of clams before. They also have a boat landing there.

Oyster Landing DriveOyster landing is 10 miles from us on the right side of Ocean Hwy (Hwy. 17). It is a great spot to dig for clans or oysters and there is no fee. Clams must be at least one inch thick. We have come home with full buckets of clams before. They also have a boat landing there.
This marina is 14 miles north in Murrells Inlet. A great place for boat rentals, launching your boat, eating at their great restaurant or just looking at all of the beautiful boats.

The Hammock Shops Village is a great place to visit. Located on Ocean Hwy just 4.5 miles North of us. This is the home of the famous Pawleys Island Hammocks. This quaint village grew up around the original store and has lots of great shops and restaurants.
