Beautiful 1 mile or so hike that ends at a gorgeous waterfall (or the baths, as they call it). In the summer, you can splash around in the water if it's not too high or busy. Does tend to get busy so recommend going early or later.

In the Summer and Fall, take a train ride to the top of Mount Washington and enjoy one of the best views in the Northeast at the top. It's 3-hours roundtrip with plenty of time to explore the summit in between.

This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Cranmore Mountain
Family-friendly and right next to downtown North Conway.
Our family's favorite place to ski (and where our son learned!). We highly recommend this mountain. Big, lots of groomers, and a gondola that takes you up to the top of the mountain for a great view and a cold beer.
