Orford - The Convict Road is situated immediately to the north of the Prosser Bridge in Orford. The trail follows the northern side of the Prosser River for 1km. The trail contains many smaller rocks but is flat and easily accessible.
The trail highlights rugged examples of Convict manual labour built between 1841 and 1855.
It is a picturesque walk with beautiful places to sit and relax. A great place to take a picnic and enjoy the beauty of the Prosser River.

Orford - The Prosser River is visible five minutes from entering into Orford from Hobart. The first part of the river is a dam for the towns water supply. After the dam you will find one of the prettiest places with amazing rock formations, glittering water and a safe place to kayak.
The Prosser River continues down through the township of Orford where it finds it way out to Spring Bay. With boats moored in the river, jetties, boat sheds, bird-life and a beautiful foreshore walk, the Prosser River is a must see and a great opportunity to take some amazing pic's - particularly at sunset.

Triabunna - Stroll along the foreshore track from the RSL building in Triabunna, past Deadmans Island, the commercial fishing boats at the wharf, the boats and yachts at the marina and head toward to Triabunna bridge. This is where you will find Pelican Park. A ten minute stroll along the foreshore, looking out over the rivulet and farm land. A common spot for beautiful pelican's to rest and feed.
At the end of the Pelican Park track you will come to Meredith Street. Turn left and walk to Henry Street. Turn left and walk back down toward the wharf. You will pass by the historic Cusick's Cottage. Turn right, then left. You will find the historic homestead called the Colonial and further down Charles Street, the newly renovated guest accommodation called the Barracks and the Spring Bay Hotel.
Well worth a wander around Triabunna.
