Original Bakery is a very lovely place to grab some coffee and fresh baked treats. The decor is mostly wood and tile and has a classic mid-twentieth century feel. There is seating and a clientele mostly of the locals.

Zeeks is an upscale pizza restaurant with lots of seating and great food. There are a wide variety of premium toppings to choose from and local beers on tap. Decor is modern and spacious. Free street parking is available however it's a brief pleasant walk from the guesthouse.

Salty's is an upscale seafood restaurant. It's the kind of place with premium prices and valet parking. It features an epic view of downtown Seattle from the West across Elliott Bay. I recommend desert and drinks if you are on a budget.

Duke's is a popular upscale Pacific North West seafood restaurant featuring an epic view of the Olympic Mountains from trendy Alki Beach. Il Corvo is a Monday through Friday lunchtime only restaurant in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. There are no reservations and the line stretches up the block. Expect a daily short menu of hand crafted Italian specialties of exceptional quality. It's downtown so parking is not going to be free. I recommend the West Seattle Water Taxi or the C-Line bus for those wanting to make a car-free day of it in downtown. Uber / Lyft are also convenient ways in and out of town.

I like this little Vietnamese gem for it's extensive vegan menu. All the food is good but a vegan menu such as this deserves some attention. The dining room is spacious and light. The waitstaff are clean, courteous, and professional. The prices are very reasonable and the wait for service is usually short.

There is lots to do on Ballard Avenue and it's easy to make a day or night of it.

There is limited outdoor seating and a Sunday morning brunch right in the middle of the Ballard Farmers Market. Parking in Ballard is quite competitive but free street parking is easier to find closer to the Ballard Fred Meyer. There's lots to do on Ballard Avenue so making a day or night of it is a fun option.

There is limited outdoor seating and a Sunday morning brunch right in the middle of the Ballard Farmers Market. Parking in Ballard is quite competitive but free street parking is easier to find closer to the Ballard Fred Meyer. There's lots to do on Ballard Avenue so making a day or night of it is a fun option.

If you love beer then you'll love Beer Junction. Thousands of bottles to choose from and somewhere approaching a hundred taps will satisfy the most jaded beer aficionado. Parking is free in the Alaska Junction 3-hour lots.

Beer Star is a trendy new upscale beer bar in White Center. Expect a very clean and well provisioned bar in a local neighborhood undergoing gentrification. Lot's of ethnic restaurants are within a short walk of the bar and free street parking us generally plentiful.
