Our favorite things on Cape Cod
Food scene
Grab a scoop or a sundae at the renowned Sundae School. The sundae's come topped with a fresh cherry and homemade whipped cream.
The staff is made of mostly college students from all of the country spending their summers working on the Cape.
Don't worry if it looks busy when you arrive. The staff is extremely efficient.
This location only takes cash and does have a cash machine available.
Also, don't forget to bring a few quarters if you want to use the player piano inside. It's very fun for the entire family.

They also have really great stuffed cod and much more.
Andrea’s was just ranked one of the best fish markets on the Cape and it’s right near the cottage.

One of the last exhibits shows how artifacts brought back from years of being covered by the rough Cape Cod Sea. It is a working laboratory that shouldn't be missed.

It's free to attend all games. Just bring a lawn chair, grab a seat in the stands or find a spot for a blanket and take in the one of the best activities on the Cape. Will you catch a foul ball from the next big star?
All teams have concessions. I'm partial to the Captain Parker's Clam Chowder served at the Y-D Red Sox concessions stand. It doesn't get more Cape Cod.

Visit the friendly staff at the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce. The staff will be able to direct you to any activity you might be interested in on the Cape.

Cape Cod can start off chilly and then become very warm in the afternoon and then cool down in the evening.
Don't forget to pack a sweatshirt or jacket to keep warm.

Don't worry if you forget anything the cottage is close to everything. There is a Dollar Tree and Dollar General very close to the cottage. This year we picked up the best unicorn floaty for my daughter at Dollar General - She loved floating around on the waves in local beach.
Also, I try to put in a Target order when I'm enroute to the cottage. The Target is on Route 28 a couple of miles from the cottage. I generally order milk, bread, breakfast items, lunch items, snacks, and toiletries that I didn't bother packing.
